FTP Clients and Web Server are two important element for our web design will be publish locally or via internet. FTP Clients have function to access on port 22 and we can upload,update,delete our file on Web Servers. Web server can refer to either the hardware (the computer) or the software (the computer application) that helps to deliver content that can be accessed through the Internet. Some product of web servers are Apache , IIS (Microsoft) , nginx , GWS (Google) , lighttpd , SunOne and many more . FTP Clients Portable Applications

      Filezilla portable application

      FileZilla is the most popular open source FTP client. With the portable version, you can save your clients’ server details and settings with you. Although you can use Firefox portable and install the FTP extension, but using a standalone FTP application is more encouraged as it provides more features and more options to be configured.

    2. WinSCP Portable
      Winscp portable application

      WinSCP is an open source free SFTP client and FTP client for Windows. It integrates a text editor. I seldom uses this application unless when i need to use SFTP or SCP protocols. So, i will recommend FileZilla for normal FTP uses.

Web Servers Portable Application

    1. XAMPP Portable
      Xampp portable application

      XAMPP integrates Apache, MySQL, PHP and Perl into one package. Everything is pre-configured and you can run your own web server without any configurations. You can download the normal version or the lite version.
